The sail is much more than just a part of our logo. It symbolizes our understanding of a modern bank.
A sail captures all the invisible currents that act on a ship. It collects, focuses, amplifies and redirects them – with the result that everything moves in the desired direction. For IBB, this means: We see it as our task to make all the developments, forces, all the knowledge, even the adversities and the opportunities that are invisible at first glance, usable for our customers.
To do this, we have many specialists on board at IBB whose work you don’t always see right away. They are instrumental in ensuring that our business and, above all, that of our customers, is moving at a brisk pace. Even in stormy times, this has kept us on course. Even more: 2020 was a successful year for IBB.

Hard work and crisis-proof business relationships:
Heike Kemmner analyzes the year 2020.
It is always an us
Heike Kemmner describes 2020 as a year that pushed everyone to their limits. And yet also had pleasant insights to offer. The IBB board member wants to build on this in the future.
“Of course, this was not a year to be wished for. Everyone had to cut back and summon up an incredible amount of discipline and strength to cope with the pandemic. On the other hand, Corona is not yet over on December 31. So the question remains, what do we take with us? When I look for answers to that, I have to say: it was a completely different year, it was a difficult year, but it wasn’t all bad.”
